Accra Ridge Church | Accra's Local Church

The church decoration team formerly known as Church decoration and Flower Ladies is made up of committed women and men who have volunteered their services to decorate the interior of the church with flowers on Sundays and also with garlands on special occasions like the Christmas festivities.

The group of made up mainly of older women and their numbers keep dwindling as the years roll along. They have a male member and could use a fresh injection of young ladies and gentlemen willing to learn the art of flower décor.

On Sundays, the splendid array of flowers bedecks the sanctuary and gives glory to God for the wonderful gift He has graciously endowed. The team sometimes supervise the pruning and nurturing of the plants and herbage around the church.

During the dry period, when there are very few flowers to be found on the church grounds, the team would generously bring flowers from their own collections  at home and from other sources. There is hardly if ever any lacking in flowers for decoration.

As a church we really appreciate the efforts this team has made over the years in maintaining the standards in the interior décor of the church.
