Accra Ridge Church Constitution PREAMBLE WHEREAS the Accra Ridge Church, hereinafter referred to as the “CHURCH,” seeks to be a Christian Congregation, united in Christ as a worshiping, witnessing and serving community; WHEREAS the Church provides a placed for interdenominational Christian worship in Accra within which some churches , namely, the Anglican Church of Ghana, the Methodist Church, Ghana and the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, hereinafter referred to as “Participating Churches,” and persons from all over the world meet on terms of equal partnership, AND WHEREAS the church is a fellowship which confesses the Lord Jesus Christ as God and Saviour according to the Scriptures, and whose members endeavour to live and work together to the glory of the One God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit: NOW, WE, the members of the Church, in pursuance of the above declaration, and in order to secure a more orderly and consistent organization for the promotion of true Christian life and faith, do ordain and establish this Constitution for ourselves and our successors. Click here to download the Entire Constitution How can one become a member of the Accra Ridge Church? A prospective member from any other denomination is welcomed to join for as long as the prospect can show proof of his/her affiliation with another church and provide appropriate reasons for leaving their original place of worship. The prospect then fills a membership form and is interviewed by one of the Ministers. The prospect would be required to go through 12 weeks of discipleship counselling prior to being confirmed member.
