Name:  Mrs. Dorcas Naana-Nusi Attuah
Denomination:  Methodist
Position held:   Manet Women’s Fellowship representative

Mrs. Attuah is a Freelance Journalist who works with a Marketing Communications Agency. She has been a member of the church for 25 years and is a lay reader and leader and has served on the Council in 2004-2006 as Assistant member responsible for Fund raising and Public relations. She is married to Mr. Emmanuel B. Attuah and they have 3 children.

 
Name:  Mr. Lawrence Diabah Seidu
Denomination:  Presbyterian
Position held:   Member responsible for Visitation Group

Mr. Diabah Seidu is a retired Flight Engineer and Aircraft Maintenance Engineer. He is currently a private business executive. He has been a member of the church for 25 years. He is a member of the men’s Fellowship and actively participates in the Wednesday afternoon prayer meeting. He is married to Mrs. Victoria Diabah Seidu and they have a grown son.

Position held:   Youth Representative

Miss Osei is an Accountant and has been a member of the church since her childhood. She is a member of the Youth Fellowship and the Praise and Worship Team. She served as Treasurer and Vice President of the Youth Fellowship.

Denomination:  Methodist/Presbyterian
Position held:   Member responsible for Evangelism Committee

Prof.  Adei  is an Economist by profession and is the Rector of GIMPA. He has been a member of the church for 5½ years. He is a lay preacher, a marriage counselor and teacher with the Couples’ Fellowship. He is married to Mrs. Georgina Adei and between them they have 4 children.


Name:  Mr. Joseph Emmanuel Kojo Hayford

Position held:   Assistant member responsible for Evangelism Committee

Mr. Hayford is a Systems Analyst and the Managing Director of Haymor Cosmetics Limited. He has been a member of the church for 30 years and is a member of the Evangelism Committee and the Ministry Team. He served on Council as an assistant Member for Property and also as the Youth Representative. As a member of the Youth Fellowship, he served as Organizing Secretary and Prayer Secretary. He is actively involved with the Tudu Outreach Mission. He is married to Mrs. Victoria Hayford and they have been blessed with 3 children.

Name:   Mr. Benjamin Manyah Donkor
Denomination:  Methodist
Position held:   Neighbourhood Fellowship Coordinator

Mr. Donkor is a retired bank executive and currently a hotelier. He has been a member of the church for 10 years. He is a member of the Men’s Fellowship, Mission 50+, a lay reader and leader. He was the Neighbourhood  Coordinator on Council for 2005.

He is married to Mrs. Jane Donkor and they have 5 children.

Position held:   Manet Representative

Mrs. Adu-Gyamfi is a Pharmacist and is married to Mr. Collins Adu-Gyamfi. They have 3 children. She has been a member of the church for 22 years and is involved with the Sunday School at Manet and an executive member of the Manet Women’s Fellowship. She has been working with the Street Girls Aid at Maamobi for 17 years. She served as the Assistant Services Secretary, Manet from 2003-2005.

 
Name:   Dr. Sam Quist
Denomination:  Methodist
Position held:   Men’s Fellowship Representative

Dr. Quist is a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and a General Practitioner working in private practice. He is married to Mrs. Bernice Quist with whom he has 3 grown children. Having been a member of the church for 26 years, Dr. Quist is the immediate past President of the Men’s Fellowship.

Position held:   Women’s Fellowship Representative

Mrs. Djangmah has worked with the Ghana Education Service and the Customs Excise and Preventive Service and ENOWID. She is married to Mr. Djangmah and they have 2 children. She has been a member of the church for 16 years and is a member of the Visitation Group, a lay reader and leader and the President of the Women’s Fellowship at Ridge. Mrs. Djangmah previous served as the Visitation’s Group Representative on Council.

Mr. Pratt is a Communications Specialist and has been a member of the church for the past 20 years. He was the Council Member responsible for Fund Raising and Public Relations in 2004-2006.

Position held:   Member responsible for Fund Raising and Public Relations

Mrs. Djin is a Language Interpreter/Translator and has worked in this capacity for many years. She has been a member of the church for 7 years and is a member of the Women’s Fellowship, the Visitation Group, the erstwhile 70th Anniversary Committee, the Monday Bible Exposition and participates in the Wednesday afternoon prayer meeting.

Mr. Crabbe is a Marketing Communications Executive. He has been a member of the church for 20 years and has previously served as Secretary to the Council in 1998-2002. He has also served as a Council member in 1983-1993. He is the past Drama Director of the Youth Fellowship and a resource person at the Youth Service. Mr. Crabbe is married to Mrs. Barbara Crabbe and their marriage has been blessed with 2 children.

Mr. Dela Ackuaku works with Tigo Ghana Limited as the Greater Accra Sector Manager. He is married to Mrs. Irene Ackuaku and they have 4 children. Mr. Ackuaku has been a member of the church for the past 20 years. He was once a Music Director of the Youth Fellowship. He also served on Council as Services Secretary in 1996-2000. He is currently a member of the Couples’ Fellowship and assists with Holy Communion.

Mrs. Glover-Quartey has been a professional teacher for 35 years and retired as an Assistant Director of Education. She has been a member of the church for over 20 years. She is a member of the Women’s Fellowship, Christian Education, a lay preacher and reader. She is a member of International Ladies Prayer and Bible Study Fellowship and was a Patron of the Scripture Union. She is a life member of the Bible Society of Ghana. She is married to Dr. Alex Glover-Quartey and they have 4 children.

The church administration, popularly called the Church Office, is the fulcrum around which all events and activities of the church revolve.

It has as its head the Administrative Secretary who is responsible for all administrative functions and supported by an Assistant Administrative Secretary who takes care of the financial administration of the church. There are also 2 Secretaries, an Accountant, a General Services Officer, Stores Officer and a Services Assistant responsible for other aspects of church administration.

The general staff of the church includes three Ministers from the three Participating churches, namely, Presbyterian, Methodist and Anglican and the Music Director.

The Church Administration is primarily responsible for implementing decisions taken at the Church Council and overseeing the day-to-day running of the churches at the Ridge, Manet and Tudu.

The auxiliary staff is made up of security personnel, cleaners and gardeners whose duty it is to secure the church grounds and maintain the church grounds.

Introduction

A new Church Council was elected at the Annual General Meeting held in March 2008. The profiles of the Officers of Council has been provided below as well as the other members of Council and their designations.

Remember them in your prayers to ensure that there will be smooth coordination between them and the church members and that they would be worthy stewards of God as we move forward through witnessing to fulfill the call of God upon our church.

COUNCIL MEMBERS FOR 2008-2010

OFFICERS OF COUNCIL

Chairman 

The new Chairman for Council is Captain Dick Gbesemete. A Presbyterian, Capt. Gbesemete has been a member of the church for the past 32 years. He was the former Chairman of the Evangelism Committee and is a lay preacher. He is also a Director of the Full Gospel Businessmen's Fellowship International (FGBMFI).

Capt. Gbesemete is a Master Mariner and has captained various ocean-going vessels. He is a Marine Consultant and a Nautical Surveyor.

Secretary

Mr. Charles Crabbe is the Secretary for Council. He is serving a second term. He is a Marketing Communications Executive and has been a member of the church for the past 22 years. Charles has served the church in various capacities, particularly with the Youth Fellowship and is currently a resource person for the Women's Fellowship and Sidespersons.

Charles is also a member of the Scripture Union at Wesley Grammar Senior High School and with GHAFES at the University of Ghana, Legon.

 Treasurer

 The newly elected Treasurer is Mr. Timothy Austins Osei a Chartered Accountant.  He has served as a member of the Finance Committe for quite some time now. Timothy is a Presbyterian and has been a member of the church for the past 29 years.

Name: Mr. Andrew Lokko
Denomination:  Anglican
Position held:   Chairman of Council
 
Mr. Andrew Lokko is an Anglican and the out-going Chairman of Council. A retired business executive, Mr. Lokko  is currently self-employed and is starting a bookshop and an agro-processing setup. He is married to Dr. (Mrs.) Phoebe Lokko and their marriage is blessed with 4 children and three grandchildren.

Mr. Lokko has been a member of the church for the past 47 years. He is a member of the Men’s Fellowship, Christian Education and a lay reader. He is the Treasurer of the Prisons Ministry and a member of Council of Maranatha Bible College.

 
Name:  Mr. Oko-Nikoi Dzani
Denomination:  Presbyterian
Position held:   Treasurer

Mr. Oko-Nikoi Dzani has been a member of the church for 18 years and has served on the church Council since 1995. He is a member of the Christian Education and sometimes attends the Wednesday afternoon prayer meeting. He is a Chartered Accountant and Finance Executive. He is a member of the church/society Committee of Ga Presbytery.
